Strain guide
Permanent Marker is a modern dessert-and-gas cultivar recognized for an unusually sharp mix of floral sweetness, candy, fuel, and marker-like funk.
These notes are general cultivar background, not claims about a current batch.
Origin
Leafly credits Seed Junky Genetics' JBeezy with breeding Permanent Marker and Doja Pak with selecting it, using Biscotti, Sherb Bx, and Jealousy ancestry. AllBud lists the same three-part ancestry without naming either company.
Sensory notes
Common examples have dense green flowers, occasional violet shading, orange pistils, and a heavy resin coat. Reports often combine soapy florals, candy, citrus, and chemical gas.
Comparison
Compared with Biscotti, Permanent Marker usually puts more floral and solvent-like character ahead of baked sweetness. Jealousy relatives can overlap, but often lean fruitier or creamier.
Buying guide
Look for provenance tying Biscotti and Sherb Bx to Jealousy, plus a sensory description where floral soap, candy, and marker-like gas appear together; generic sweet-gas copy is too broad.
