Listening to great music while smoking cannabis is one of the nicest experiences. Put on some music and roll up.
But when it comes to their stoner music, everyone has distinct likes. Some folks prefer funk and bass-heavy pieces, while others prefer soothing and mellow music.
We almost always return to a certain playlist whenever we sit down for a long joint smoking session.
A few chosen cuts genuinely stimulate my high. You know, music from smokers just sounds different. These tracks aren’t all about weed. Nevertheless, they improve your experience.
If you enjoy smoking and listening to music, this playlist might become your new favorite!
Sharing is key in the cannabis culture. This is just one of my many favorite playlists, but I could sit here and give you a hundred tunes to smoke to.
So it’s a privilege for us to perhaps provide some nice music to your stoner moments. This is my playlist of the best music for smoking.
1.”Legalize It” by Peter Tosh
There isn’t much more classic than this. Even if you don’t smoke, Peter Tosh’s “Legalize It” will give you a high. Enjoy the tropical sensations by turning up the volume on this mesmerizing song.
2.”Shine on You Crazy Diamond” by Pink Floyd
Like the beginning of a galaxy, this epic song adventure begins calmly and serenely. Then, like the great bang, it bursts into a stunning orchestral blend. “Shine on You Crazy Diamond” changes and develops into what seems like a brand-new song multiple times, much like many of Pink Floyd’s songs.
3.”Still Blazin” byWiz Khalifa
Wiz Khalifa is on this list, of course. “Still Blazin” is a flawless blend of reggae and hip-hop. One of the tunes that truly made a young Wiz famous was “The Smooth Stoner’s Anthem.”
4.”Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley
There will be multiple appearances of the legendary Bob Marley on this list. But “Three Little Birds” is a great song. As you hit the ganja, the upbeate message and funky bass rhythm will make your head bob and your hips shake.
5.”Feel Good Inc.” by Gorillaz
Listening to this generation-defining Gorillaz single is sure to make you feel happy. Those eerie voices and booming guitars have a way of touching the stoner’s soul. You’ll feel better after listening to “Feel Good Inc.”—and Mary Jane, of course.
6.”Mary Jane” by Rick James
Speaking of Mary Jane, this Rick James song is incredibly joyful; it’s clear he was high when he composed it. This music reminds me of what it might be like to float on a cloud of cannabis.
7.”Uptown Top Ranking” by Althea and Donna
Feelings of a famous island again. Together, Althea and Donna produced the classic song “Uptown Top Ranking.” Melt into this Caribbean jam and transport yourself to a different place.
8.”Marijuana” by Kid Cudi
I can’t even mention the word “marijuana” without thinking of this song right away. On this Kid Cudi hit, the dizzying pianos are captivating. Enjoy this masterpiece while high.
9.”Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang” by Dr. Dre feat.Snoop Dogg
This hip-hop masterpiece by The Doc and the Dogg swept the globe. I want to float away just grooving to the bass line because it’s so damn nice. Never listen to “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang” without a blunt in your hand. For a period.
10.”Kaya” by Bob Marley
“Kaya” isn’t a very well-known Marley song, although I’m not sure why. This song has a joyful vibe because of how effectively the funky guitars blend with Marley’s joyful vocals. Go for it!
11.”Strawberry Fields Forever” by the Beatles
The Beatles’ ability to capture the sensation of intoxication and translate it into song is evident in “Strawberry Fields Forever.” Lose yourself in this psychedelic song while smoking marijuana.
12.”How High” by Method Man & Redman
Redman and Method Man collaborated on this stoner’s song years before they made a movie with the same name. “How High” is the first (and best) of these two legends’ many hits to smoke cannabis to.
13.”Purple Haze” by the Jimi Hendrix Experience
Doesn’t this song really speak to the soul? No other musician can (or ever will) raise your mood as Hendrix’s magnificent guitar riffs on “Purple Haze” can.
14.”2am” by Slightly Stoopid
Is there a more magnificent sound than the saxophone on this song, man? “2am” has the power to soothe even the Hulk. Light up and put this on if you want to lose yourself in a mystical stoner atmosphere.
15.”Come Around” by Collie Buddz
Although Collie Buddz has a lot of sexy songs, I think his popular song “Come Around” has the most potent intensity. It seamlessly blends hip-hop with reggae, and the melody is just catchy.
16.”Paper Planes” by M.I.A.
I start envisioning scenes from Pineapple Express every time this song comes on. It’s M.I.A.’s hit song “Paper Planes.” Roll up some paper airplanes. It only makes sense.
17.”Sensual Seduction” by Snoop Dogg
Although everything Snoop performs seems to have something to do with smoking, this song has nothing to do with it. However, while you’re high, this instrumental is incredibly beautiful and euphoric. As you blow some good-good, lose yourself in this lovely beat.
18.”Crumblin Erb” by Outkast
If you haven’t smoked to Big Boi’s well-known smoking song and André 3 Stacks’, are you even a serious stoner? As you blow nice tree, “Crumblin Erb” is a smooth groove that will let you forget about life’s troubles.
19.”Distance” by V Scripts
This ethereal instrumental enhances your high because it is very calming. The peaceful feelings of “Distance” by V Scripts are a perfect complement for marijuana, even though the song isn’t about smoking it.
20.”Jammin” by Bob Marley
Yes, indeed! This timeless favorite marks Marley’s second appearance on the list. Can’t you get high on a Bob Marley song? This guy never stopped making me feel fantastic. Get your groove on and light up!
21.”I Wanna Get High” by Cypress Hill
It’s all in the title. Not only is “I Wanna Get High” a fantastic song, but I think about it at work at least a hundred times per day. Keep my supervisor in the dark.
22.”Next Episode” by Dr. Dre
Nate Dogg, rest in peace. Even though it’s the final line of this Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg song, “Smoke weed every day” is the first thing that springs to mind when I think of “The Next Episode.” And have faith that, for Nate’s sake, I do as I am told.
23.”Because I Got High” by Afroman
There are times when you just need to be lazy and smoke. Forget about cleaning your room, skip the gym, and just relax on the couch. Simply get high. People all throughout the world may relate to this Afroman anthem because we all want to get high and forget about everything.
